The creation side of SlideNotes supports rich content types beyond plain text.

Users can embed images, graphs, code blocks, and LaTeX mathematical notation directly into slides, making the tool practical for technical presentations, academic lectures, and scientific content where standard slide builders often fall short.

A live broadcast mode enables real-time presenter-audience synchronization. When presenting, the current slide is broadcast to all viewers in their browsers simultaneously, keeping audiences on the same slide without requiring app installations or account creation on their end.

Viewers can follow along on any device with a browser, which simplifies logistics for both in-person and remote presentations.

Node diagrams add a visual layer for concept mapping and relationship visualization. Users can build connected diagrams within the same presentation environment rather than importing from a separate diagramming tool. This makes SlideNotes particularly useful for educational content, project overviews, and any presentation where showing connections between ideas adds clarity beyond bullet points.

SlideNotes is open source and currently free to use, making it an accessible option for students, educators, developers, and professionals who need a capable presentation tool without subscription commitments.
