Discord NotesBot

Built for communities, teams, and study groups that use Discord as their primary communication platform, NotesBot eliminates the need to manually document what was discussed or agreed upon during voice calls.

The bot integrates with Discord's voice channel system through a simple slash command: users type /join to invite NotesBot into an active voice channel, and the bot begins capturing audio immediately.

After the call ends, NotesBot processes the recording using AI transcription and summarisation producing a structured summary alongside a full transcript and an MP3 recording of the session and posts the results to the designated channel automatically.

Speaker tracking is a core component of the transcription output: NotesBot identifies which participant said what, attributing each portion of the transcript to the correct speaker. This makes the notes far more useful for accountability and follow-up than a generic transcript especially for meeting contexts where understanding who committed to which action item is essential.

Action item extraction adds a layer of intelligence beyond raw transcription: the AI analyses the conversation and identifies tasks, decisions, and commitments made during the call, pulling them out as a separate action item list. This gives meeting participants a clear post-call checklist without having to re-read the full transcript to identify what needs to happen next.

NotesBot supports customisation of its summary format and output through custom prompts allowing communities to specify what information they want highlighted, whether that's game strategy, study topics, project decisions, or meeting outcomes.

All generated content, including MP3 recordings, transcripts, and summaries, is accessible through a personal dashboard with call history, and the API enables programmatic access for communities that want to integrate NotesBot data into external tools.
