The platform supports both role-based access control (RBAC) and row-based permissions through a powerful expression language, enabling complex authorization scenariossuch as 'users can only read records they own,' 'managers can see their team's data,' or 'premium subscribers access all content'to be defined clearly and enforced consistently at the database query level.

This removes the need to write custom middleware authorization logic for each endpoint, a common source of security vulnerabilities in manually built APIs.
