Co-Producer

Co-Producer solves a specific problem in modern music production: the overwhelming amount of time producers spend searching through sample libraries trying to find the right sound for a track.

The plugin sits on the master bus and listens to an active DAW session analyzing the key, tempo, rhythm, and harmonic content of the project then suggests royalty-free samples from Output's curated library that are musically compatible with the current track.

Results are synced to the correct key and tempo before preview, so producers hear exactly how each suggestion would fit before committing.

The workflow is built around audio analysis and text prompting in combination.

Producers can play 4 or 8 bars of audio into Co-Producer for harmonic and rhythmic analysis, add a text prompt specifying instrument type, genre, or sonic direction ('vintage brass stabs, soul influence'), and hit search returning a contextually matched sample list.

A Re-imagine feature transforms any found sample into infinite unique variations, preventing the 'I've heard this sample before' problem common when working with large shared libraries. Samples can be previewed in sync with the playing track and dragged directly to the DAW timeline when selected.

Co-Producer is a subscription-based plugin available standalone or as part of the Output One bundle (which includes Arcade, Portal, Thermal, and Movement). The library is regularly updated with new professionally made samples from working musicians.
