Cluely is one of those products where the marketing did everyone — including Cluely — a disservice. The 'cheats for you' framing was attention-grabbing but obscured what the product actually is, which is a competent live-meeting copilot with very tight pricing. I ran it on three sales calls last month: the playbook context was the strongest feature — pulling the right case study at the right moment is the kind of intelligence that compounds over a quarter. The objection-handling prompts are useful but generic at the default settings — you have to invest 30-60 minutes building custom playbooks for it to feel sharp. The Pro annual at $19/mo is a real value if you take more than a few customer calls per week. For sales orgs, the Team tier with shared playbooks is where the compounding shows up — one rep builds a playbook, the whole team benefits.
